Five Diamonds

"Anyone can be confident with a full head of hair. But a confident bald man - there's your diamond in the rough." Well I have found five diamonds. Allan and the Arnett Wildcat baseball team made it to state this weekend in OKC. Although the game played a big part of the weekend, what stood out the most to me were the five bald seniors on the bus ride home. I will eventually lose my hair being that I take chemotherapy. However; Ross, Tanner, Kory, Marc, and Brycen beat me to the punch and surprised me. They all shaved their heads in my honor. What a gesture! You will never know how special I feel tonight. Just know you are making my climb a little less hairy.

  1. You are special Ceci, and with friends and family like these guys, how can a girl not feel better??? We think and pray for you everyday and love reading about how you are doing since we can't see you. You hang tough, and keep smiling that beautiful smile! We have no doubt you'll win this battle!
    Love ya!

Ceci, loved your blog and picture of the 5 AHS baseball players and what they did in your honor. I am going to write a few little tidbits along the way, to tell you we love you and either put a smile on your face or encourage you, hopefully both."Character is property.....it is the noblest of possessions" P.S. I agree with Reed!!!!!

  6. Hey Ceci, the Woodward News article and picture was great! You sure are a loved young lady! I don't know who Reed is, but I, too, agree with him! Much love, Kathy & Rexie
