Clinic Day

Yesterday, I received 2 units of packed red blood cells (pictured left at PCH). My hemoglobin was at 8.2. With each bag I will gain about 2 points. They are having trouble finding blood that matches up to the specific antibodies in my blood. There was a donor who gave a power pack of blood (both units) to me. We are very thankful he happened to donate this week! I always feel better after getting blood, but I don't feel 100%.

We are anxiously awaiting Ryan and Allan's test results. They should be back Monday sometime. We have a meeting with the bone marrow specialist, Dr. Roberta Adams, next Thursday, Oct. 1.
