Home Sweet Home

Monday morning, the doctor came in and informed my family and I that I have Influenza A. Apparently two months ago when it all started my spherocytosis (a disease I was born with) started hemolizing my red blood cells and I started getting more and more tired and fatigued. Just last week I caught the flu, which started to shut my body down. The only cure is fluids and a whole lot of rest; no more tennis for awhile. But guess what, they sent me home! I am reporting back to the out patient clinic tomorrow. They are taking more blood labs, and they wonder why I'm anemic? I'm taking it slow, and I feel so much better. This morning, I woke up and felt like getting out of bed for the first time. I'm truly blessed by everyone's thoughts and prayers. My decorated front yard brought a huge smile to my face and your support means the world to me.

Love,
Ceci
